Featuring The CRM Method Open Water Swim Clinic
Hydration and skin protection are non-negotiables. We've got our participants covered thanks to our Club sponsors, Belo Sun Expert, Lightwater and Vitaboost.
Our recent open water swim clinic, held last April 25, welcomed a small group of first-timers who arrived with a mix of excitement and hesitation. The goals were simple yet meaningful: to build confidence, develop essential safety skills, and learn race-specific techniques for open water swimming.
The day began with a brief lecture on fundamental open water safety, followed by a challenge set for the first-timers which was to complete two laps around the All Hands swim course without a tow buoy and without holding on to any buoy line by the end of the session.
Guided by Coach Ronald Molit, the session focused on the essentials: basic survival skills, efficient sighting, swim starts and exits, and an introduction to the CRM Method’s signature technique, Sub-Aquatic Meditation.
What started as cautious movements along the buoy lines gradually evolved into steady, confident strokes. With every drill and attempt, there was a visible shift, not just in skill, but in self-belief.
By the end of the session, each athlete rose to the challenge. All first-timers completed a continuous open water swim, while others sharpened their sighting and pacing. Everyone left the weekend stronger and more confident.
It was a clear reminder that in the right environment, with the right support, progress is inevitable.

With such positive feedback, you may want to experience it for yourself. Join our next Open Water Swim Clinic and Tri Simulation on May 16-17, 2026 at All Hands, Subic Bay.
